Ragesh Buch

Ragesh Buch has over 33 years of experience in the Instrumentation and Controls field, including greenfield, brownfield, revamp, and sustainability projects in upstream and downstream Oil and Gas facilities. He has been in Calgary working with Fluor Canada Ltd. for the past 13 years , where he has contributed in a technical lead role on various medium and mega-sized projects in Canada with participation in What if analysis, HAZOPs, LOPAs, SIL determination workshops and SRS & SIL verification reviews. He has provided specialized technical audits, fatal flaw analyses, and has also provided functional safety assessments on projects in line with IEC 61511. Ragesh received his CFSE (Certified Functional Safety Expert) certification in 2018 from Exida USA and has since been a functional safety mentor in the office for the past 6 years and has provided in-house training, helping younger engineers advance their career in the field of functional safety.
