Jose Valls

Jose is a CTO Manufacturing at Microsoft based in Redmond, Washington. As part of the global Manufacturing Industry leadership team, Jose is responsible for driving thought leadership, defining and shaping AI and Cloud adoption opportunities, and activating Microsoft’s partner ecosystem to drive industry use cases at scale.

Jose has over 40 years of experience in executive positions in Advance Process Control, Automation Control Solutions, Process Manufacturing, and Historians across Europe, South Asia, Latin America and the United States. During his career he has played key roles leading complex transformation and innovation engagements, driving business platform development, leading technology and strategy groups, and serving as an Industry technical visionary. Jose joined Microsoft in 2014 and is currently focused on: technical principal guidance framework, hybrid computing, the industrial metaverse, unified analytics and data solutions for the era of AI, and how humans visualize and interact with technology.
