32+ years of Process Automation & Control (PACO) experience with 15 years in an EPC engineering role and over 17 years with Shell as Senior PACO engineer providing I&C support for projects and for LNG Assets. Technical Authority Level 2 in Shell involved in projects across different phases, including Concept/Select, Execute, Construction, and Commissioning/Start-Up.
Medium to large scale project involvement includes LNG Facility (Canada LNG), Refinery Hydrocracker Unit Upgrade (Scotford Refinery), Carbon Capture & Storage (Quest & Polaris, Scotford), Lube Oil Facility DCS Upgrade, Offshore Production Platform Upgrade & Modification (Brunei), Control System Modification (Oxy, Qatar), Control System Obsolescence Project (Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia), Coal Fired Power Plant (Java, Indonesia), Kodak Chemicals (Xiamen, China), Control System Modification (US Steel, Pittsburgh), Tabangao Asset Renewal Project (Batangas Refinery Philippines)
Performs Audit of/Study for Assets thru facility integrity review to support Life Extension studies, assess Equipment Integrity, and evaluate Management Systems. Performs Failure & Incident Investigation, Big Hits Workshop, Control Improvement studies, asset Readiness Assessment, F&G Detection Review & Impairment, and Asset Improvement Planning. Asset provided with I&C Technical Services includes LNG assets in the Americas (Peru LNG, Atlantic LNG, Trinidad & Tobago Upstream). With occasional support to assets in the East such as Sakhalin LNG & Upstream facilities, Brunei LNG, & Queensland Curtis LNG, Egypt LNG, and Oman LNG.
Active member of APEGA since 2014, as a Registered Professional Engineer.
