Ryan Gordon

Ryan Gordon graduated from the University of Alberta’s Petroleum Engineering program 2009. He began his career in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) as a field operator where the foundation of his oil and gas knowledge was laid. Two years later, Ryan transitioned into an engineering optimization role where his interest and aptitude for downhole work became evident. In 2015, Ryan began focusing solely on downhole work as he took on the role of well servicing coordinator. In his first 10 years in the oil and gas industry, Ryan planned and managed over 800 downhole workovers ? from simple pump changes to complex coiled tubing interventions on horizontal wells. This experience has provided Ryan with a strong knowledge and understanding of rod pumping systems. In January of 2020, Ryan joined TOKU Systems Inc. as the manager of customer support where he focuses on using high-quality pressure data from remote assets to creatively solve common problems in upstream oil and gas operations. Drawing from his experience, Ryan is able to view pressure data in the context of production operations which allows him to guide the development of solutions that increase operational efficiency and deliver high business value.
